I could write lines above lines for Michelle and Patrick. Michelle texted me in social media that she’s in love with my pictures and that she would love to have a shooting when I am around Cologne someday. Luckily not 4 weeks after I anyways had an appointment in Düsseldorf. They took the chance and invited me to stay at their beautiful flat for a weekend. If I say it’s beautiful it’s still an understatement. It’s one of the most stylish and minimalistic but still cozy flat I’ve seen since a long time. I arrived in the evening and we went out for dinner – these tow just know the coolest places in and around Cologne for whatever food and goods you like. So we were at a kind of brewery together and had an amazing evening chatting about everybody and his dog. They just made me feel like as if I’d be home. Especially when we went into this sweet tiny coffee on Sunday morning! I just love cozy coffee places with kind and open-minded people – and Michelle definitely know every good coffee place as she runs an awesome blog about coffee (malhiermaldort GO check it out – she’s a coffee choriphae) To continue with the actual story… We spent the next two days together with a lot of shootings. Not only did I shoot the two, they had another shooting with another cool regional photographer – Lucas Coersten feel free if you want to check out his instagram. And I also had another shooting with some amazing vendors. Besides the amazing results you can see here, their support and love was just beyond my expectations and I can’t wait to meet them again. You’re always welcome down here in the south guys! This is what makes photography and shooting couples so special to me, digging deeper than just for one short shooting and getting to know people in a special way.
